Filming TV shows in Chicago

Chicago Fire is being filmed in Chicago. It's always fun to watch this show with the hubby. When they show shots of out doors in the streets of Chicago, we try to figure out where they are at. I heard they will be doing another season. FYI not one of the TV characters were born in Chicago.

Collecting vintage Cookbooks

In the many avenues of collecting kitchenalia ~ Cookbooks are a unique item to have. They not only look good on the kitchen shelf. But you can pick a recipe and cook or bake it.  My mother collected cookbooks. She liked to cook. She was a stay at home mother in the 1950's. I guess that's where I get my liking to cook from. Please check out our web site at www.jazzejunque.com and check out our charming cookbooks.

Easter Collecting

In the many avenues of collecting holidays are very popular. I started collecting 1950's plastic Christmas. I then started with Easter. Also doing Halloween. I remember these fun plastic pieces when I was about eight years old. Some were as little as ten cents at the Dime Store. Always looking for reasonable priced ones to add to the collection, that I don't have.
